What is the difference between 1-step and 2-step polishing?
1-step polishing refreshes the gloss and removes fine scratches and dullness – it is suitable for paint in good condition. 2-step polishing is a deeper correction: first we remove scratches, holograms and oxidation with a cutting compound, then we refine the depth of gloss with a finishing polish. We will recommend the right option at the inspection.
Will polishing remove all scratches?
Polishing removes scratches that are only in the clear (top) layer of the paint. Deeper scratches that you can feel with a fingernail reach the colour coat and require repainting. At the inspection we will tell you what polishing can achieve.
Is polishing safe for the paint?
Yes. A professional process removes only a minimal amount of clear coat and uses compounds and pads suitable for the type of paint. Polishing is a standard part of care even for new vehicles.
How long does the polishing result last?
The gloss itself lasts for months, depending on maintenance and external conditions. If you want to keep the result long-term, we recommend protecting the paint after polishing with ceramic coating or PPF film.
Do I need to wash the car before polishing?
No. A thorough wash and paint decontamination are part of the preparation before every polish – without a clean surface, dirt would be worked into the paint.
How much does paint polishing cost?
1-step polishing costs from 299 €, 2-step from 449 €. The price depends on the size of the vehicle and the condition of the paint. You will find all prices in our price list.
